The Family Law Facilitator, Irma Santana, is an attorney licensed to practice law in the State of California.  There is NO FEE for services provided by the Family Law Facilitator.

The following services are available through the Family Law Facilitator’s Office to individuals who are seeking assistance or who have been referred by the court:

  • Providing education materials to parents concerning the process of establishing paternity

  • Establishing, modifying, and enforcing child support and spousal support in the courts

  • Distributing necessary court forms and voluntary declarations of paternity

  • Providing assistance in completing forms

  • Preparing support schedules based upon statutory guidelines

  • Providing referrals to the local child support agency, family court services, and other community agencies and resources that provide services for parents and children

  • Meeting with individuals to work  out issues regarding child support, spousal support, and maintenance of health insurance

  • Drafting stipulations to include all issues agreed to by the individuals

  • Preparing formal orders after the Court has made a decision in cases where both individuals are not presented by an attorney
